Our hearts were filled with great happiness when Patriarch Filaret blessed the construction of temple and he blessed-himself God's Cross and the first stone.

The Christians of the orthodox cathedral of the region Sumy, inspired to have their own temple, began to resolve the problems of the construction of the temple. Such happened that there is no any stone-built temple in the honour of the Most Holy Mother of God in our town, and so our town and people are lacking in divine Mother's care. Time will pass and nine domes of majestic cathedral in Byzantine style, covered with gold will shine over the whole town. This clerical center with the printing house of the church, school, canteens for poor and ill people will make feasible contribution to the spiritual development of Ukrainian nation. The work with youth, children and adults will open new view on life and consciousness of their being on the Earth. But for the beginning and the complete finishing of the building, we need some money.

We address to Christians, to everyone, who at least once in the life said the words GOD and UKRAINE, we ask from the bottom of ours hearts to send some contribution to the address of the temple. Your contribution will be appreciated by the unity, your name will be enter to the Celestial Book of Life and to the Church's Book of the Memory. You will be the honourable member of the construction of the Saint Cathedral in the honour of the Intercession of the Most Holy Mother of God in the benevolent region of Sumy.

Mit unendlichem Glück waren unsere Herzen an jenem Tag überfüllt, als der Patriarch Filaret den Bau eines Gotteshauses segnete und eigenhändig das Gotteskreuz und den ersten Stein ein weihte.

Beflügelt mit dem Streben nach eigenem Heiligtum fangen die Christen der orthodoxen Gemeinde der Sumy Region die Errichtung des Domes an. Es ist so gekommen, dass es in unserer Stadt kein errichtender Steindom im Name der heilige Mutter gibt, so unsere Stadt und Menschen sind von der Bevormundung der Himmelsmutter beraubt. Wenn die Zeit vorbei wird, werden neun mit Gold, überzogene Kuppeln, die sind wie Besantischesdom für die ganze Stadt glänzen. Gegründetes heiliges Zentrum mit der Kirchendruckerei, Schule, Mensa für den schwachen und kümmerlichen Menschen, wird einen kräftigen Beitrag in geistliche Entwicklung der Ukrainische Nation leisten. Arbeit mit der Jugend, Kindern und Erwachsenen wird die Lebensansicht und Lebensverstдndnis eröffnen.

Aber um die Bauarbeiten zu beginnen und vollzuenden, brauchen wir noch viel Geld. Wir wenden uns an jeden Christen, der nur einmal in seinem leben das Wort GOTT und die UKRAINE ausgesprochen hat und bitten herzlich, an die Adresse des Domes eine Spende herzusenden.

Ihr Beitrag wird würdig von der Gemeinde geschätzt werden. Ihr Name wird ins Himmelsbuch des Lebens und Kirchenbuch von Gedächtnis eingetragen. Sie werden Ehrenmitglieder des Heiligdomesbauens im Name der Mariä Schutz und Fürbitten im dem fruchtbaren Sumy Land.

C’est avec bonheur que nos coeurs s’étaient remplis ce jour, quand le patriarche Filaret avait béni la construction de la cathédrale et lui-même avait béni la croix de Christ et la première pierre.

Ayant le désir de posséder leur propre cathédrale, les chrétiens de la société orthodoxe de la région de Soumy ont commencé à résoudre les problèmes de la construction de cathédrale. Il n’y a pas aucune cathédrale en pierre bâtie dans notre ville au nom de Sainte Vierge et la ville et les gens n’ont pas de soin de notre Mère. Le temps passera et neuf coupoles en or de la grande cathédrale en style de Byzance brilleront pour toute la ville. Le centre sacré fondé avec la maison d’édition d’église, l’école, la cantme pour les paurves et les faibles portera la contribution dans le développement de la nation ukrainienne. Le travail avec la jeunesse, les enfants et les adultes ouvrira le regarde nouveau pour la vie et la conscience de leur Etres sur la terre.

Mais pour finir ce complexe de la construction nous avons besoin de l’argent. Nous nous adressons à chaque chrétien, à chacun qui prononçait une fois au moins les mots suivants: DIEU et UKRAINE, avec la prière qui va du fond du Coeur, envoyer à l’adresse de la construction (direction) de la cathédrale une aide (une somme d’argent) qui vous pouvez nous donner.

Votre aide sera un grand remerciement de la part de notre église, votre nom sera écrit dans le Livre Céleste de vie et dans le Livre de Mémoire de l’Eglise.Vous deviendrez un member d’honneur de la construction de la St. Cathédrale au nom de Pokrova Sainte Vierge dans la region bienveillante dans la region de Soumy.
